Make Google your homepage

Step 1: Open Settings

Click on the settings icon in the upper right corner and select Settings.
A new tab will open.

Step 2: Change your homepage to Google

In the Appearance section, click the button next to Show Home button, then click the blue link Change.
Delete the text in the box, which is either about:blank or another website. Then type www.google.com in the box.
Click OK to save your changes.

Step 3: Sync your settings

To sync your tabs, bookmarks, apps, themes and more across all your devices, click the Sign in to Chrome button at the top of the Settings page.
Sign in with your Google Account, then click OK, sync everything or click the Advanced link to customize your sync settings.

Make Google your homepage

  1. Open Internet Explorer, select the Tools button , and then select Internet options.
  2. On the General tab, under Home page, enter the URL of the site you want to set as a home page. You can add more than one URL, or add the site you're currently viewing by selecting Use current. If you add more than one URL, put each URL on its own line.
  3. Select Apply, and then select OK. The next time you open a new browsing session or window (or select the Home button ), your home pages will be loaded automatically.

4. Check the box for A Specific Page Or Pages under the Open With section. A drop down menu will appear.

5. Click the down arrow at the end of the drop down menu.

6. Pick Custom. You can also choose from the predefined MSN or Bing pages.

7. Enter the URL of the page you wish to add.

8. Tap the Plus sign next to the box to add another page. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you have all the pages you want.

9. Close the settings panel when you're done adding all the sites you want.

  1. Open your browser, at the top left corner
  2. Click the Firefox button
  3. Press Options (you’ll see another Options button appear)
  4. Press the second Options button
  5. Enter google.com in the space, located under the Show my home page option
  6. Click OK

And, you’re done! Wasn’t that easy and simple? Next time you try to browse the web, you’ll see Google as your homepage. There’s one more way you can turn Google into your homepage. It applies if you’ve activated the menu bar in your browser. The process hardly changes:

  1. Click on Tools

Safari gives you a couple different options to work with, depending on how you prefer to browse, so it’s worth it to spend a few extra moments customizing the results.Safari Homepage

  1. First open up Safari, select Safari in the upper left corner of the screen, and then select Preferences. From here, select General.
  2. Look for the heading that says Homepage with a space next to it. You can either type in google.com, or if you’re already on the Google site you can choose the button below, which says Set to Current page.
  3. Safari also has several important headers higher in the General window. “Safari opens with” allows you to choose if you want to open with your previous windows as a time-saving shortcut. “New windows open with” and “New tabs open with” both allow you to set them to Homepage to make sure that you will allows start with the Google search no matter how you like to open new sites. Choose the options that work best for you!
